I'd ask Fred if Federalism applies to the War On Drugs since it is obvious by the Alcohol Prohibition Amendment that the Federal Government has no power to prohibit intoxicating substances.

If you are expanding the poll, I think Newt Gingrich or Rush would be facsinating to talk to, one on one. I would also like to talk to ole "W" himself. My good friend in Austin ran in his social circle when he was Guv, and she said he is really likeable.

Yeah, and what of Duncan Hunter? He was quite outgoing and opinionated (no ambiguous PC speak) at a luncheon last year. As for Barack, I agree...might even be an opportunity to help him see the light that only self-determination can lead to economic freedom.

I picked Fred but then my drug damaged brain recalled that I was once a hippie, so he'd probably have to punch me.

If I survived, I'd love to ask him for the inside skinny on the Watergate hearings.

The guy is a huge genius when he writes something on a topic of merit. As I am a fellow writer, Fred glides through complex topics in an elegant shorthand that sometimes leaves me nearly breathless.

Come to think of it, it's no easy task to put a governor behind bars. You gotta be damn good to carry that off. So Fred is a guy who understands the law, the constitution, and he's got a smokin' hot...presidential aura. (I know what you were thinkin' ...I was thinkin' it, too.)

I think mI would talk to Fred about anything but politics. Afterall, if you read anything you have to know his stand on just about everything. I think Tennessee sour mash versus scotch whiskey might be a good topic.

We'd have to confirm this with CQ commenter kauaiboy, but I think Bette spends most of her Hawaii time on that island now, which has a much more "sedate" nightlife than Honolulu does.

I'd want to take armed bodyguards with me if I were to go barhopping in Honolulu these days anyway (paging Duane "Dog" Chapman?)

Why did you go to the Univision thing in Miami, if they don't speak English, likely as not they aren't legal to vote?? Why did you break so many hearts by going there??
